Hello, I'm your local dog walker.

I started dog walking because I've always had a deep love for animals — especially dogs. Spending time with them never feels like work; it's something I genuinely enjoy. I wanted to turn that quiet passion into something meaningful, and to help busy owners make sure their dogs get the care, exercise and company they deserve.

I've worked with animals most of my life, in particular dogs and horses. My household has fostered and adopted rescue dogs over many years, and I've handled a vast variety of breeds — boisterous puppies and gentle seniors alike. I've sat through training classes with my own dogs, four of them in fact: a Labrador, a Collie, a Terrier cross, and a Dachshund. They keep me honest.

Are you insured and DBS checked? +
Yes — fully insured for public liability and care, custody & control, with an enhanced DBS certificate available on request. I'm also Pet First Aid trained and hold a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Care.
How are group walks paired up? +
By temperament and energy, not just size. I keep groups small — usually three or four dogs — and trial-walk new pups one-to-one before introducing them to a pack. If a group isn't right, a solo walk is.
Where do the walks actually happen? +
Local fields, woodlands and quiet lanes around Congleton & the surrounding areas — and lots of the smaller footpaths. We mix it up so dogs don't get bored.
What about poor weather? +
A bit of rain rarely stops us — dogs come home with a thorough towel-down. In genuinely dangerous weather (heat, storms, ice) walks are shortened, swapped to lead-only, or replaced with home enrichment.
How do I book and pay? +
Get in touch through the form, by email or phone. After a free meet & greet I'll send a simple agreement and an invoice each month — bank transfer is easiest.
Do you take reactive or nervous dogs? +
Often, yes. I have lots of experience with rescue and reactive dogs — solo walks, quiet routes, and patient handling. We'll talk it through honestly at the meet & greet so we know what's right.
